Upper Primary Year Level Coordinator’s Message

We definitely have had an amazingly busy term with the Eid festival, fundraising campaigns, excursions/ incursions, the Primary concert, the gymnastic program, the book fair, the character parade, Literacy Week, Numeracy Week, Science Week, spelling bee and Integrated Studies competitions.

I would like to thank all teachers for their level of support across these different occasions, none of which would have been possible without their help.

Character Parade

As part of literacy week students and teachers have dressed up as their favourite book characters. Everyone looked fabulous!

Spelling Bee and Integrated Studies Competition:

I would like to congratulate Year 3 students for coming first in our inter campus spelling bee and Year 5 students for coming first in the Integrated Studies intercampus competition. Well done to our students and teachers for their hard work!

End of Year Concert:

Many thanks to all those who attended our Primary concert, it was a fantastic evening. Students had been rehearsing thoroughly this term and they did a great job! I want to take this opportunity to thank all teachers and students for putting lots of effort into our concert. I would also like to thank the parents who contributed and paid for their child’s costume.

Administration update:

• If you have changed your mobile number, email address or moved houses, please provide us with your updated contact details. We need our records to be accurate.

Students update:

• Students MUST come to school and classes on time (including after recess and lunchtime). Students MUST be prepared for their next class and bring their equipment/ materials to class on time including bringing their book during DEAR time. Students MUST be wearing full school uniform and completing their WEEKLY homework booklet. I would like to see Upper Primary Students being more organised for next term.
• I would like to remind parents and carers that students return to school on Monday 8th of October.
